Unsere Regeln

Mutmaßlich rechtswidrige Inhalte kannst du außerdem per E-Mail an info@soapapp.eu melden.

Eure Mitgliedschaften in gemeinsamen Communities bleiben bestehen.

So hebst du eine Blockierung auf: Tab Aktuell → dein Profilbild oben rechts → Kontakteinstellungen → Blockierte Personen → Entsperren.

Etwas für dich ausblenden

Our rules

These rules apply to the soap app by Soap Network GmbH and explain our terms of use (available in German). The terms themselves are binding. soap is for adults aged 18 and over only.

What is not allowed on soap

In particular, the following is not allowed on soap:

soap rejects clearly unacceptable terms as soon as they are saved, in usernames and in the texts of profiles, events, communities, trips and join requests. soap does not check images automatically. That is why your reports matter.

Reporting

Report an account

  1. Open the person’s profile, for example from your contacts, the map or a community’s members.
  2. Tap Report user at the bottom.
  3. Choose a reason, briefly describe what happened if you like, and tap Send.

Report an event or a community

  1. Open the event, tap ⋯ at the top, then Report event.
  2. Open the community, tap ⋯ at the top, then Report community. If you only know it from search, you’ll find Report community below its preview.
  3. Choose a reason, briefly describe what happened if you like, and tap Send.

The reasons are Harassment, Inappropriate content, Fake profile or impersonation, Spam, Safety concern and Something else. You cannot report your own content.

We may pass on the content of a report to the person reported. We only tell them who made the report if this is strictly necessary in an individual case.

You can also report content you believe to be illegal by email to info@soapapp.eu. You don’t need a soap account for this. We review your report and let you know the outcome by email.

Blocking and hiding

Block a person

  1. Open the person’s profile and tap Block user.
  2. Confirm with Block.

After that, you can no longer find or contact each other, and an existing friendship is removed. The person is not notified. Your memberships in shared communities remain.

To undo a block: Now tab → your profile picture in the top right → Contact settings → Blocked people → Unblock.

Hide something for yourself

  1. Open the event, tap ⋯ at the top, then Hide event, and confirm with Hide.
  2. To hide a community you are not a member of, tap Hide community in its preview.

Hiding only affects you and is not a report. To bring hidden content back, go via your profile picture to Contact settings → Hidden content → Unhide.

What happens after a report

Reports go to the soap team, and a person decides on every action. Depending on the case, we take one or more of these steps:

A suspended account can no longer create or change content and cannot be found in search or on the map. The person concerned sees in the app that their account is suspended. They also see the reason as a category and, for a temporary suspension, when it ends. They can appeal the decision by email to info@soapapp.eu. Every action is logged on our side.

Child safety

Please report any sign of child sexual abuse or exploitation in the app with the reason Safety concern, or by email to privacy@soapapp.eu. We make the content concerned inaccessible and suspend the accounts involved. Where required, we pass reports on to the competent law enforcement authorities.

Please do not send us any images or videos. Describe where you saw the content instead. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police right away. In Germany, dial 110.
