Part of the Körber Start-Hub
The Körber Start-Hub gives us space to develop soap.
soap shows you where your friends and acquaintances live right now and who’s coming to your city soon, so “we should catch up sometime” finally turns into an actual meetup.
When you sign up, we receive your email address so we can send you the launch link. More about privacy (in German).
After school, university and a few moves, your friends live all over the place. soap puts everyone back on one map, so you can see at a glance where the people who matter to you live.
When an old friend is in town for the weekend or a mate moves to your city, soap lets you know in good time, and not when it’s already too late.
You drop a pin on the map and invite the people you want there. That way you can make plans without wading through an endless group chat full of “when are you all free?”.
soap doesn’t show anyone’s live location. The app works with postcodes, so you know which city someone is in, but not exactly where they are right now.
You decide who sees you on the map, and you can go invisible with a single tap. We don’t sell your data to anyone.
soap is developed in Germany and runs on servers in Europe. We see it as a European alternative to the big platforms from the US and China.
soap helps you find each other again. We’re launching in Hamburg soon, and if you sign up now, you’ll be there from day one.
